We did a large project and the crew worked very hard all day. They were courteous, friendly and accommodating to anything I requested. When the workday was done, they cleaned up the site completely. Even the neighbors were complimentary of how tidy, hardworking and quiet they were. Any changes that occurred, that affected the cost of the job were discussed ahead of time with additional cost estimates provided in writing and signed by both parties. We have also been very pleased with any follow-up adjustments that the job required.

The work they did on our property was extensive: over the course of five months, they installed a new irrigation system, re-planted throughout our property, and designed and built new stone patios and a variety of play features for our kids. Richard was at the project site daily to check on progress and make sure that things ran smoothly. His crew chief, Curtis, is a very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable person, and we trusted him completely and felt fortunate to have him in charge of the day-to-day work on our property.

My husband and I have recently completed another Landscape project with Richard McArdell and team.

We hired McArdell Landscape as our landscape contractor in 2008.
The project involved installing all new planting on an empty lot - mature trees, a wide variety of plants and flowers, lawn, plus irrigation and lighting. We had built a new home and our desire was to have the landscaping look like it had been there for years. Richard and his crew (Larry Davidson as the lead man) were incredible. They arrived on time, his entire crew was outstanding and we were kept informed as the project progressed. The day we moved into our home, the landscaping was almost complete and it did look like we had lived with this lovely mature garden for years.

McArdell Landscape has a can-do attitude. When we would suggest something, Richard went about figuring out how to make it work. His knowledge of soil, plants, structure, irrigation, grading, lighting and much more is evident throughout our project. He worked really well with our landscape architect, making suggestions for improvements and responding to her suggestions. They really worked as a team to make the project such a success. McArdell Landscape has been incredibly responsible even after the project was finished. (When one of us hit a landscape light with the car, Richard's foreman was over the next day to fix it.) Richard and his crew take personal pride in making sure the project is the best it can be not only for their customer but also for themselves.
